‘Ever want to break out and go for a walk but didn’t know where to begin or how to get out the door?  This highly regimented little line finds a way.  Making his way alone across a wasteland of white pages, he encounters a series of entanglements, experiences and adventures.  Eventually, he develops a sense of self, after a fashion, and has a good laugh.’

This book began as an experimental sketchbook and developed in very behind-the-scenes way during other, more pressing engagements and projects.  Gradually, it took on a life of its own and became a narrative in (almost) purely visual form.  Any text or symbols are used in a visual sense and do not require decoding or ‘reading’ in order to inform the character of this Line’s Story.

At the present time, summer 2014, this story is a unique volume in only this single copy.  We hope to reissue this book as an Artist’s Special Edition sometime this year, as time allows.  Do please let us know if you would like your own Reserve Copy in advance.  CONTACT us for further details about this or any other Artists’ Books from SomeOddPages.com
